A perfect sunset view
The room featured an incredible ocean view, allowing us to watch stunning sunsets right from our balcony. The complimentary chowder at the fire pit was an unexpected delight.
Unfortunately, the TV setup was overly complicated, leading to a frustrating evening trying to connect. the sliding door panel had some damage, affecting our view.

We celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday at this lovely spot, and the special touches from the staff really made it unforgettable, like the balloons and treats they prepared just for her. We spent hours relaxing by the pool and enjoying the cozy fire pit area, which was a great way to unwind. The only little hiccup was that the balcony could use a bit of a clean, but it didn’t take away from our great time—definitely bring some marshmallows for s'mores! 🎉

Loved the stunning ocean view from my room and the cozy gas fire pit area. It’s an easy stroll to charming shops nearby, making it perfect for a beach getaway!
The place is so worn that a ghost might trip over a loose railing!

Couples seeking a cozy beach hideaway
We loved the balcony view where we could see the ocean waves crashing, it felt like we were in our own little paradise. And every evening they had fresh cookies and delicious clam chowder served in the lobby which was a nice touch.
The price was quite steep but it was still worth it.

We loved the oceanfront balcony where we could enjoy beautiful sunsets right from our room. Decent stay with great views
We had a chill trip here. The staff were super friendly and even let us check in early! Loved the ocean view from our room, but the breakfast area was way too cramped. Sometimes the hot water ran out, which was annoying after a long day. Overall, it was nice for a pet-friendly spot.

Staying here was a mixed experience as I dealt with some maintenance issues, like a non-functioning phone and tricky security door. However, the view from my room was stunning, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the delicious salmon chowder served during my stay. it really stood out. The hotel’s location is conveniently close to local attractions like the aquarium, making it a good spot for exploring the area, but I did wish for better breakfast options.

My recent stay at the Ascend Hotel was positive overall. The location offered stunning ocean views, and the room was spacious and well-appointed with a cozy gas fireplace. The staff were accommodating and allowed an early check-in, which was a great start to my trip.

Our stay at the Ascend was a culinary delight with salmon chowder at 5 PM and fresh baked cookies at 7—heaven! Plus, the fire pit area was a great spot to unwind. The cozy fireplace in our King Suite was a lovely touch, making our evenings complete.
The breakfast was a total grab-and-go flop with no proper seating, and the elevator was like a moody teenager, ignoring my floor selection. Just a little frustrating!
